A good location for visiting the cathedral cities of Canterbury and Rochester, the many castles including Dover and Leeds or the ancient cinqueports. Make a tour of the historic towns and villages of Kent or simply relax in the countryside amidst the traditional hopfields and cherry orchards. Spend a day at the coast or in one of the many gardens, most famously Sissinghurst. Find time to take a trip to London or the continent on the Shuttle or Eurostar.

This is also good walking country with access to the whole farm, leading to a comprehensive network of local footpaths and bridal paths and not too far away the Pilgrim's Way to Canterbury or the Saxon Shore Way along the coast of Kent.
